Amelia Dimoldenberg on Oscars gets Perez Hilton’s Attention
Well, now you know Amelia Dimoldenberg’s done something in being named the “face” of Oscars Social Media, when Perez Hilton takes notice, as he did on Twitter, AKA “X”:
But How Did Dimoldenberg Get 2 Million Subscribers?
There’s this rise of YouTubers who get millions of subscribers and this author has never heard of them at all. It’s a fair bet if one walks around town and asks if anyone’ heard of Dimoldenberg or PewDiePie, or the other multimillion subscriber YouTubers, the answer would be “no”. So, how does that happen?
Maybe some of the subscribers are purchased? There are services allowing one to buy YouTube subscribers. Since that buyer’s not getting a real person, that should tell you what’s up. Fakery.
YouTube once took a hard line on fake subscribers, but apparently the practice is so wide-spread and uncontrollable, that the video-distribution firm can’t do anything about it.
The 96th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide.
