Los Angeles (Special to OscarsMovieNews.com) – The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences reports an all-star-list of luminaries that includes Mahershala Ali, Nicolas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong’o, Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ke Huy Quan, Sam Rockwell, Michelle Yeoh, Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Keaton, Regina King, Jennifer Lawrence, Kate McKinnon, Rita Moreno, John Mulaney, Catherine O’Hara, Octavia Spencer and Ramy Youssef will present at the 96th Oscars®, executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producers Molly McNearney and Katy Mullan announced.
But, as promissed, Kapoor, McNearney, and Mullan issued a new press release which reported the additional presenters would be: Emily Blunt, Cynthia Erivo, America Ferrera, Sally Field, Ryan Gosling, Ariana Grande, Ben Kingsley, Melissa McCarthy, Issa Rae, Tim Robbins, Steven Spielberg, Mary Steenburgen, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlize Theron, Christoph Waltz and Forest Whitaker
Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the 96th Oscars will air live on ABC and broadcast outlets worldwide on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the new time of 7 p.m. EDT/4 p.m. PDT.
The producers will continue to announce talent joining the show leading up to the ceremony.
96th Oscars Viewing Parties
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will host live Oscars viewing parties in New York and London exclusively for its members and invited film industry guests on Oscars Sunday. In addition, the Academy Museum will host its public annual viewing party in Los Angeles.
In the heart of Manhattan, Oscar Night® New York will be held at the Mandarin Oriental, where guests will enjoy an early cocktail reception followed by a seated dinner with a bespoke menu exclusively tailored to the event.
Oscar Night London will take place at the Dorchester Hotel, where guests will watch the late-night live broadcast from red carpet arrivals to the momentous announcement of the Best Picture winner and celebrate with menu items inspired by the Oscars Governors Ball.
At Oscars Night at the Museum in Los Angeles, guests will experience a one-of-a-kind evening celebration of the 96th Oscars with special photo opportunities, access to the museum galleries, food by Wolfgang Puck and Shake Shack and wines from Clarendelle & Domaine Clarence Dillon, with access to Fanny’s and the David Geffen Theater to watch the Oscars broadcast live on ABC. The celebration takes place from 3pm – 8pm PDT and is open to the public with some tickets still available here.
